I am a Property Manager at Ridgeway Estate Agents. I have been working at Ridgeway for 21 years, starting as the Administrator and quickly advanced to a Property Manager. I really enjoy visiting the properties I manage and meeting my tenants and landlords. I find property maintenance very fulfilling with the different challenges it brings on a day to day basis. I am married and have 5 grandchildren which keep me busy in my spare time. I am a member of the Better Gym at the Link Centre in West Swindon and enjoy walking around Lydiard Country Park which is close to where I live.

I am a Property Manager at Ridgeway Estate Agents, where I have had the pleasure of working with my wonderful colleagues for the past two years. What I love about Ridgeway, and what sets us apart, is our unique, comprehensive approach to property management. We, the property managers, handle the entire process, marketing the property and conducting viewings to creating inventories and managing the property. This hands-on involvement, aided by our great admin staff, allows us to act in the best interests of our Landlord, ensuring their properties are well cared for and their needs are fully met. In my spare time, I enjoy reading sci-fi and supernatural books and, most importantly, spending time with my Family.

Gill Newell

Senior Administrator

As one of the Administration staff, I’ve been in this role for six years, and during that time I’ve become responsible for a wide range of tasks. These include dealing with outstanding rents, carrying out right to rent checks, dealing with deposit claims and processing and paying invoices.

Outside of work, I have a wonderful partner, and have four grown-up children. I also have one granddaughter, who has me completely wrapped around her little finger despite only being one year old.

I am one of the ‘backroom staff’ and have been with Ridgeway for nearly 9 years. My admin role includes arranging initial viewings, ordering references and doing the final paperwork for new tenants. I also try to assist existing tenants when the Property Managers are away. I have been married for 23 years to my long-suffering husband Dave (together over 30 years) and have a wonderful daughter of whom I am very proud of. I am an avid Liverpool FC – supporting them for many years and love visiting Anfield. My other interests include reading, eating out and holidays in Cornwall

I have been with Ridgeway since 1998 taking a few years off during the early 2000’s and returning in 2007. I have been happily married for 34 years and we both enjoy spoiling our little dog who we love to walk (especially if there is a pub on route !!). We love to eat out and enjoy spending time with friends and family, especially our 5 great nieces and nephews.
